A strong economy is essential for a successful nation. In recent years, we have seen skyrocketing inflation rates, record-breaking gas prices, increased tax rates, and an unstable supply chain, all of which have made it more difficult for folks to provide for their families.

The broken budget process in Washington has made it incredibly difficult to identify areas of wasteful and duplicative spending. Continuing Resolutions (CRs) and Omnibus packages have been abused due to Congress’ inability to pass appropriations bills on time for over 20 years. Instead of relying on these last minute, stop-gap measures, Congress must pass appropriations and funding bills through regular order to be good stewards of American taxpayer dollars and focus on addressing Americans’ most pressing issues.
