Transportation & Infrastructure
I’m committed to ensuring the infrastructure in Wisconsin’s Third District receives the attention it deserves. Our roads need to be fixed, our bridges need to be safe and accessible, and all residents need access to clean, safe drinking water.
Strong rural infrastructure is essential to Third District communities, and Wisconsin’s farmers, workers, and families deserve to get from Point A to Point B safely. I have worked to remove barriers to funding for rural communities to improve their roads and placed emphasis on addressing the significant repairs and reconstruction our dams and bridges need.
PFAS contamination in Third District homes is a pressing issue that must be addressed. As a member of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and the PFAS Caucus, ensuring there is clean water for Wisconsin families is a non-partisan, non-negotiable issue for me, and I am working diligently in Congress to pass legislation that supports PFAS filtration and mitigation from folks’ drinking water.
