Border Security

Our nation is experiencing a historic border crisis, and everyday our communities become less safe because of it. The United States is a country of laws, and we must ensure that we have an immigration system that works, borders that are secure, and proper funding and resources for border patrol agents. 

An open southern border has created a fentanyl crisis causing thousands of Americans to lose their lives every year from fentanyl overdoses. I am focused on removing illicit fentanyl from our schools and communities so we can keep our children and loved ones safe.

I welcome those who wish to join our nation, but they must do so legally. I am committed to strengthening our immigration laws, securing our borders, ensuring our law enforcement and border patrol agents have the resources they need, and keeping our communities safe.
