Seniors
Let me be explicitly clear: I will always protect seniors’ benefits, including Social Security and Medicare. Our seniors earned these benefits and deserve to keep them. We also have a responsibility to ensure that those nearing eligibility will be able to access these benefits as well.
There is a looming threat of retirement benefits deductions in the near future. This is unacceptable. I am committed to working in Congress to ensure that our seniors today and future generations will have access to the benefits they spent their working lives contributing to. We must work in a bipartisan manner to protect and preserve these important programs.
