During that time, Van Orden’s constituent services-first office has sent over 40,000 letters, closed over 200 cases, and given over 100 tours in the Nation’s Capital to over 400 Wisconsinites.

Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) introduced two bills designed to expand opportunities for veterans and protect military families – the Ensure Military Personnel Learn Opportunities Yielding Vocations that Employ Transitioning Servicemembers (EMPLOY VETS) Act and Protect Military Dependents Act.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – In case you missed it, today Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) spoke on the House Floor to honor the life of La Crosse resident David John Chase, who passed away in November 2022 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Chase was known for his dedication to his family and community, where he was a volunteer at Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Crosse. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Abraham, as well as his grandmother, Diane, and brother, Landon, who traveled to Washington, D.C. to watch the speech in the House Gallery.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) joined Reps. John Joyce M.D. (PA-13), Ann Kuster (NH-02), Angie Craig (MN-02), Mike Simpson (ID-02), and Joe Courtney (CT-02) in introducing the bipartisan DAIRY PRIDE Act, which will prevent non-dairy products from using a dairy label and misaligning nutrient-scant products with the nutritious dairy products produced by America’s farmers.
