Van Orden Statement on Government Funding Measure

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement after voting to pass H.R. 7463 - Making further continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2024:

“While I voted to keep the government open for the well-being of our servicemembers, veterans, and farmers, I remain frustrated with the dysfunction in Washington. These last-minute shenanigans are exactly why Americans hate D.C. and emphasize the need for Congress to return to regular order and pass fiscally responsible funding bills on time.”
