Van Orden Announces 2023 Congressional App Challenge Winner
ONALASKA, W.I. – Today, Congressman Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) announced the winner of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge for students in Wisconsin’s Third District.
The Congressional App Challenge is an annual national competition that allows middle and high school students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to design, create, and demonstrate an application on a computer, tablet, or phone.
“I enjoyed hosting my first ever Congressional App Challenge and seeing the great talent of Wisconsin’s Third District students,” said Congressman Van Orden. “Aditi demonstrated exceptional STEM knowledge and creativity with her app for classifying polar-ring galaxies, and it was an honor to present her with the Congressional App Challenge award this morning. I am extremely proud of Aditi, and I look forward to seeing the many accomplishments I know she will make in the future."
